Oh man, I missed this comic the last time I was on pixiv. I can’t read it but it just makes me think that Hideyoshi’s dream of unifying the country being left unfulfilled left Magoichi as a ghost, and Masamune was the one who carried on with that dream - his own version of it, and helped Magoichi finally rest peacefully.
I still love the line at Mikatagahara, in Masamune’s path, where he almost gets choked up, telling Magoichi he couldn’t have done it without him. The only person he ever says anything like that to, in Samurai Warriors 2.
They are the best, and I don’t care what anyone sayssss. Ugh. Feelings.

IIRC only the Dynasty Warriors side are missing nipples very noticeably but I think we mostly notice this because almost everyone in Samurai Warriors wears a shirt…

I admit I am very biased here but this is like the one huge beef I have with the koeiwarriors forum because this comes up OFTEN and it makes me want to pull my hair out. Samurai Warriors Masamune is, IMO, infinitely more interesting.

I love how Magoichi tilts his head ever so slightly to avoid being smacked by Masamune’s helmet crest.
Clearly he’s used to this.
So then I wasted an entire afternoon tracking down and watching the 2011 SW seiyuu event.
It is full of ~passionate~ singing, in and out of character free talks, Daisuke Sakaguchi being a tsukkomi even in a different fandom, and short skits both tragic and hilarious. And then I translated one of the skits because… because this one is just amazing :D
First, the cast!

TakeponMitsunari, Sakon, Kanetsugu. Let’s all take a moment to admire Sakon’s magical girl costume. (Yes, those are wings.)
(L-R) Mitsuhide, Nagamasa. Mitsuhide’s seiyuu both looks and sounds like a total sweetie (he later borrowed Sakon’s wings, thus completing the image) and Nagamasa’s innocent exuberance was a perfect foil to Mitsunari’s sullen ‘What do you mean you want me to make a fool of myself in front of hundreds of people’ when they were opening the event.
I watched it here (thought that’s just one part of the whole event). If you want to watch the skit, it starts around 13:20 and lasts for about six minutes.
